Welcome to the Sparta Township Clerk’s Office.

The Sparta Township Clerk has several statutory duties and has various other responsibilities including:

Manages and maintains all records.
Prepares and maintains the board meeting minutes.
Prepares and administers all elections and is chairman of the election commission.
Oversees 4 Cemeteries.
Processes all aspects of the Township accounting system, including payroll.
Freedom of Information Act Coordinator.

In addition to these, the Clerk’s office also provides Notary Services at no-charge.
